Capturing the Perfect Moment in Copy

I told myself I’d try to make a blog post every single day. So I’d have to rely on the moment I had earlier this evening:

I had just taken the dogs out a guy was out on his balcony playing the guitar (he was good, not some piss-poor strummer), the sun was low and backlighting the low hanging tree branches. The air around us was warm and full of sidewalk spelt lifted and spinning glittery in the light. The guitar music, the light, the warmth–for 30 seconds I was in the perfect moment and I knew it–not some sappy perfect moment, just peaceful and still and timely. I stood there and just breathed it in. I wondered how many of such moments we each are awarded in a lifetime and if everyone realizes their perfect moments or if many of them are lost. Could there be more perfect moments or would more somehow be less perfect?

I hope a project comes along someday that incites me to create a perfect moment on the page.
