Blogs, Creative Content, Internet

Speaking of recycled…I’m in the middle of reading Scott Berkun’s new book, the myths of innovation. In it he explores the historical significance of innovation, invention, the effects of social and psychological conditions, and generally undoes the notion that there is anything new; every “new” innovation is merely a smart collection of many, sometimes thousands, of other previously conceived and conspired elements.

So it is with the newest tool attached to Google Maps- My Maps. Make them yourself, overlay your own placemarkers, add in ready-made widget content, such as real estate listings, gas prices, and movie times.

Blog, Google Maps Mania, delivers an intriguing blow-by-blow on the latest map mashups and links to every conceivable map resource.
