I See Why the Tip Jar

Ever wonder why a serious blogger puts a Tip Jar on his or her blog?

Because when you get really serious about your blog and writing to draw an audience, it’s time consuming–it chews up family, social time and even cuts into your work, kind of time-consuming. Now I know, I understand. Think about it–we are faced with tip jars everyday. If we tip for cappuccino mixing and bringing your restaurant order out to your car window for “curbside” take out, of course it makes sense to drop a buck or two for someone that probably spends hours providing advice, information, tips, tricks and creative products we gobble up — complimentary.
